Gifts

We have received queries regarding carrying gifts to India. We truly appreciate the gesture and we have created a registry to make it easier to send gifts rather than having to deal with customs and border security in India. If you have already purchased a gift for us, please wait until we return to the U.S. on February 12th to send it to us 🫶

What to bring?

Electrical Related

Although most hotels have a universal outlet, it may be a good idea to bring an adapter just in case. In India, it is a C plug adapter (2 round pins) and outlets are 240 Volts. Check any appliances you have to ensure they are compatible with 240 Volts.

Hair dryers will be provided in all of the rooms in Hyderabad and at the St Regis in Goa.

Clothing Related

Are there any colors to avoid?

Black can be worn on January 30 for the American celebration & Sangeet but should NOT be worn on January 31st for the Haldi nor the Indian Wedding.

White should not be worn for the American celebration & Sangeet as white is reserved for the bride.
